2026 Fragrance Releases to Know (So Far)
The latest fragrance releases of 2026 are taking familiar signatures into deeper territory, with richer concentrations, unexpected ingredients and evocative landscapes.
The modern fragrance landscape is becoming increasingly expansive, with established houses looking beyond straightforward launches to reconsider how a signature scent can evolve. Familiar fragrances are being intensified through richer concentrations, while new compositions are built around more distinctive ingredients, unexpected contrasts and specific landscapes that give them a stronger sense of place. The result is a category that increasingly sits between tradition and experimentation, with perfumers revisiting house codes while finding new ways to interpret them for the contemporary wearer.
This latest selection reflects that shift. Dior revisits its iconic Sauvage through an Extrait shaped by Vietnamese oud and a contrast of light and dark woods, while Maison Francis Kurkdjian pushes its exploration of oud into a softer, fruitier direction. Elsewhere, Montblanc and Burberry turn up the intensity of established signatures, Lacoste and Goldfield & Banks look to the sea through distinctly different aquatic compositions, and Bottega Veneta expands its olfactory vocabulary with a ten-fragrance collection that connects Italian ingredients with materials from around the world. Together, these releases offer a snapshot of where contemporary perfumery is heading: more concentrated, more textural and increasingly interested in the stories that individual ingredients can tell.
Dior Sauvage Extrait

Dior Sauvage Extrait sees Perfume Creation Director Francis Kurkdjian reinterpret one of Dior’s most recognisable men’s fragrances in its most concentrated form yet. Retaining the original Sauvage signature of Calabrian bergamot and its aromatic accord, the Extrait moves into a deeper, more textured composition built around a dialogue between light and dark woods. Indonesian patchouli and Atlas cedar bring darker, earthy tones, while Virginia cedar and Madagascan vetiver introduce lighter, greener facets. At the centre is Vietnamese oud wood, marking the first time the ingredient has been introduced to the Sauvage line.
For Kurkdjian, creating an Extrait represents the ultimate expression of a fragrance, defined by the concentration of exceptional ingredients and the balance required to give a composition intensity without allowing it to become overpowering. “It’s all about balance and structure,” he explains, describing Sauvage Extrait as a dialogue between dark and light woods. His aim was to create a fragrance that feels powerful yet refined, with a sensual, lasting presence on the skin. The result is an intense interpretation of Sauvage that Kurkdjian describes as an “olfactory tattoo”, leaving an enduring imprint rather than simply projecting into the air. Issey Miyake Le Sel d’Issey Parfum
Issey Miyake Le Sel D’Issey

Issey Miyake Le Sel d’Issey Parfum marks a new chapter in the fragrance house’s exploration of the elements, intensifying the dialogue between sea and earth. Created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, the fragrance combines a salty marine accord with laminaria algae extract and oak moss, before moving into a warmer heart of saffron and patchouli, finished with an amber accord that adds depth and longevity. The bottle, designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, reinterprets the signature Le Sel d’Issey silhouette in a dark brown gradient inspired by smoked salt crystals. Made in France, the vegan formula contains 92 per cent natural ingredients, including upcycled patchouli, while the bottle incorporates 20 percent recycled glass and the packaging uses 10 percent recycled seaweed.
Pañpuri Care Eau de Parfum Collection

Thai wellness brand Pañpuri introduces its first alcohol-free Care Eau de Parfum collection, designed for use across skin, hair and body. The water-based formula offers a softer, more intimate way to wear fine fragrance, with a lasting scent that stays close to the skin for up to six to eight hours. Enriched with organic Aloe Vera Water, vegan rice-derived Ceramide and Sugar Cane Complex, the vegan formula is free from alcohol, silicones, parabens, mineral oils and other ingredients excluded under Pañpuri’s ZeroList standards. The collection comprises ten fragrances, each centred on an emotional memory. Designed to be worn as an Eau de Parfum, hair mist or body mist, the collection extends fragrance into a daily care ritual.

Burberry Hero Elixir

Burberry Hero Elixir de Parfum marks a deeper, more intense chapter in the Burberry Hero fragrance collection, exploring the tension between strength and sensitivity through a richer interpretation of the original scent. Created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, the fragrance revisits Hero’s signature trio of cedarwoods, giving the woody composition a darker, more sensual character. Tonka and vanilla open with a soft, resinous warmth, while a blackened leather accord deepens the amber and the cedarwood trio anchors the fragrance with a grounded intensity. The result is a warm and quietly powerful scent designed to linger on the skin.
Bottega Veneta Alta Fragrance Collection

Bottega Veneta introduces Alta, its most expansive fragrance collection to date, comprising ten new Eau de Parfum expressions inspired by different moments of the day and states of mind. Moving beyond the Venetian focus of its inaugural fragrance collection, Alta explores Italy through a wider global lens, pairing an ingredient associated with the house’s home country with another sourced from elsewhere in the world. The resulting “Intrecciato duo” concept brings together contrasting notes across the collection, from Italian basil with Bourbon vetiver in Always Now, or white fig with American cedarwood in Balliamo. Each fragrance is housed in a sculptural glass bottle inspired by Bottega Veneta’s signature Intrecciato weave, finished with a wooden cap and gold-toned ring.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s OUD Velvet Mood

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud velvet mood Extrait de parfum brings a softer, more tactile interpretation to the Maison’s exploration of oud. Inspired by the shifting dunes of Liwa in the United Arab Emirates, Francis Kurkdjian translates the warmth, movement and sensuality of desert sand into an Extrait de Parfum built around the contrast between oud and peach. The composition pairs the raw, animalic character of oud wood with the luminous, fruity softness of peach, while osmanthus and a supple suede accord add leathery, apricot-like facets and a warm, skin-like quality.
Montblanc Legend Elixir

Montblanc Legend Elixir marks the fifth addition to the house’s bestselling Legend fragrance franchise and its first parfum concentration, making it the most intense interpretation of the collection to date. Created by master perfumers Antoine Maisondieu and Guillaume Flavigny, the Fougère Ambery fragrance centres on the contrast between vanilla and iris, opening with bergamot, lavender and pink peppercorn before moving into a heart of Iris Germanic, Clary Sage and Pomarose. The base deepens with Madagascar Vanilla Absolu Orpur, Ambrofix and warm resins, creating a rich and sensual dry-down. The signature Legend bottle is reworked in a shiny silver lacquered finish, paired with a metallic, wave-embossed outer pack that references Montblanc’s design heritage.
Lacoste Original Aqua

Lacoste Original Aqua introduces a fresh, woody aquatic interpretation of the Lacoste Original fragrance, inspired by the vast blue expanse of the Mediterranean and the easy elegance of the French Riviera. Created by perfumer Marie Salamagne, the Eau de Parfum opens with luminous Clary Sage and sparkling pink pepper before moving into an aquatic heart built around a textured caviar accord and aromatic cypress resin. Amber accords and vetiver form the base, adding warmth and depth to the otherwise invigorating composition. The bottle retains the signature Lacoste Original silhouette but is reimagined in semi-transparent aqua-blue glass, contrasted with a white cap and silver detailing.

Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Swell Extrait de Parfum

Goldfield & Banks marks its 10th anniversary with Pacific Rock Swell. Created by perfumer Leonardo Lucheze, the fragrance captures the power of the ocean through a more concentrated, immersive composition, opening with bergamot, cardamom and clary sage before moving into a textured heart of seaweed, geranium, mimosa and fir balsam. Sandalwood, patchouli, Madagascar ylang-ylang and ambergris form the base, adding warmth and mineral depth as the fragrance settles on the skin. Inspired by the moment before a wave breaks, Pacific Rock Swell contrasts crisp oceanic freshness with sun-warmed woods and darker marine facets, resulting in a richer and more intense interpretation of the collection’s coastal character.
